Specialist Accountancy Practice recruiters, Clark Wood, are looking to speak with an experienced and well-rounded Accounts Senior on behalf of a highly reputable and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants near York.

As an Accounts Senior your role will involve working with a variety of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a range of business sectors.

This progressive independent firm are looking to add an experienced and personable individual to their team where you will undertake a varied general practice role which will include the preparation and review of statutory and management accounts, as well as the associated corporation tax computations and returns. You will also be involved with the completion of bookkeeping and VAT work as required.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a varied general practice role and may be ACA / ACCA Qualified (or at the latter stages of their studies) or Qualified by Experience. Previous experience of working within practice is essential.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified. Experience of working in practice is essential. An up-to-date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards. Strong accounting software experience.
