My client is a boutique Courier Services company who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temp to permanent basis. The contract would be three months initially, and then would turn permanent.
It's a great opportunity for someone working in Accounts Payable to make the next step into a more varied role. The role offers study support and other great benefits. The company is based in Holborn, and you must be able to start ASAP to apply to this role.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant
- Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Processing supplier invoices and expense claims
- Bank reconciliations
- Petty cash
- Supplier payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Basic Finance Analysis
Requirements of the Accounts Assistant
- Strong experience in Accounts Payable
- Knowledge of Bank Reconciliations
- Microsoft Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups and Sumifs)
- Previous experience of Sage would be beneficial
- Previous experience in the courier/car service industry would be an advantage
