Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Administrator in Southampton to join an Independent Financial Advice practice.
The role will involve working alongside the paraplanning and admin team, duties will include but not be limited to:
Supporting paraplanning team with research
Supporting paraplanning team with recommendations
Database work
Client documentation
Diary entries
Compliance
Obtaining illustrations
New business submission
Client servicing
Preparing review packs
Sending letters
Sending valuations, and other relevant documents to the clients
The ideal candidate:
Experience with Pension, Investment, and Protection products
2 years + experience in a Financial Services Admin role
Experience in some report writing/ preparing recommendations
Understanding of the financial planning processes
Understand the importance of compliance and regulatory procedures

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
2 years’ experience in an IFA Administration role (desirable from IFA must be within Financial Planning/Wealth Management) Experience with the technical administration eg report writing/recommendations Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Team player Interest in working towards CII exams if you’ve not already completed them
