Job Description

Come and join our rapidly expanding firm of accountants in Baildon. We pride ourselves on being an innovate and proactive forward-thinking team who are always one step ahead of the game.

We are seeking an experienced payroll administrator to join our busy payroll team on a permanent basis up to 30 hours per week but potentially full-time dependent on candidate’s experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a successful firm where you can gain exposure to a wide range of duties and industries.

Your duties in this role will include:

- Processing payroll from start to finish using Sage Payroll for our clients.

- Processing starters and leavers.

- Calculating holiday pay.

- Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP.

- Dealing with client queries.

- Dealing with HMRC to assist with any enquiries.

- Dealing with pension auto enrolment matters and the pension’s regulator.

- Dealing with CIS monthly returns.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This role would ideally suit a candidate with a background in a practice environment, though consideration will be given to candidates with appropriate experience from industry. Applicants will need to be extremely well versed in Sage Payroll software and enjoy the variety and diversity that comes with working in a multiple client environment.
