In this role you’ll provide administrative support by managing the day to day functions of the administrative department.
In this role you’ll:
Line management of Reception staff, Ward Clerks and Medical Secretaries.
Be responsible for aspects of the administration budget.
Maintain records of staff absence in accordance with Cygnet Procedures for monitoring and managing absence.
Ensure effective Induction of new staff in accordance with the Cygnet Procedures
Manage the department as a whole, the management to include environmental issues as well as personnel issues and the day to day running of the department
Attend monthly Heads of Department meetings
Support Personnel in the management of mandatory staff training.
Be involved in the investigation of performance, conduct and grievances as requested.
Ensure there is adequate cover for periods of leave for members of the administration departments.
Provide administrative support to the Senior Management Team as required.
Attend meetings, both internal and external, as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in a similar role. Microsoft IT skills. Organizational, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Great attention to detail and have excellent administrative skills.
