European Accountant- Permanent- up to £55,000 per annum plus benefits

Watford, Hertfordshire

Our client, an innovative brand set on pushing the limits, is actively searching for a forward thinking Accountant to play a pivotal role in maintaining the business's current success. The chosen individual will be ACCA/CIMA qualified and have previous experience in a similar role.

Key responsibilities include:
* You will have responsibility of the day to day accounting of certain European entities
* You will manage month end close process
* Full monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
* You will review and approve monthly cash flow forecast
* You will review of all month end activity booked on other legal entity books in relation to the European entities, including customer invoicing, deferred revenue balances, accruals and prepayments
* SOX compliance activities
* You will ensure A/R balances are current and work with customer as appropriate to ensure payment
* Manage AP process and monitor open items
* Processing of payroll (Outsourced)
* Check of US GAAP year end closing in SAP
* Internal coordination for authorisation & signatures for annual taxes, stat. accounts and shareholders meeting
* Quarterly VAT declaration
* Annual VAT, Income & Trade Tax declaration.
* Assist with Year end Tax calculations before closure of books and reporting to Corporate
* Review Quarterly VAT returns and EC sales reporting
