What you will be doing

Right now, we’re working to deliver an ambitious strategy which will see us helping more people, responding to changing client needs, and working closely with our partners to reduce the harm of problem debt.

This is a crucial role in determining the success of our growth plans. Within this role you would work with the charity’s Finance Department reporting to our Finance Transactional Team Leader.

Key accountabilities

  • Provide administrative support on tasks relating to Sales Ledger billing
  • Package up various invoices and data files in line with the creditor and data protection requirements, distributing in a timely manner
  • Dealing with customer and supplier queries over various inboxes
  • General credit control and cash allocation
  • Assisting in processing supplier invoices and supplier payment runs
  • Assist with collating information and dealing with colleague expenses
  • Various other duties as required to include; working on the daily cashbook, reconciliation of supplier statements and general daily admin responsibilities across the Finance Department

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience working within a finance environment and knowledge on transactional accounts is preferred. Previous knowledge of Sage is advantageous The ability to work well as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and time management skills Proficient using Microsoft Office packages including excel particularly pivot tables, vlookups and various other formulas Ability to pick up IT packages and processes quickly – Sage line 50 accounts experience advantageous, but not essential High attention to detail Ability to work accurately when under pressure
