Taking personal responsibility for ensuring that steps within the customer journey are completed successfully to ensure that customers are treated fairly and that any errors are flagged early for rectifying.
Customer contact by email, and inbound and outbound telephone are large elements of the role.
The Insurance Team is focused on helping our customer protect their new leased vehicle by offering protection that is specifically designed for our leasing customers as they take delivery of their new vehicle; motor insurance, Finance GAP, and tools in transit.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Checking internal and 3rd party records to ensure that customer instalment payment plans are accurately recorded with finance providers and are effective in collecting owed premiums highlighting by exception any customers payment history that require resolution
- Creating customer insurance documents using existing quotations, and confirmed sales, to prepare policy documents and issuing these by email to customers
- Checking inbox and electronic document folders to ensure that we have received customer insurance documents pre-delivery of leased vehicles and recording that information on internal systems.
- Making outbound calls to customers requesting payment details to activate already sold policies
- Receiving inbound calls from customers with queries about the above tasks.
About you
- You will have a good attention to detail.
- You will be comfortable working with basic payment figures.
- You will have a good telephone manner.
Desirable: A Levels or equivalent qualification, OR prior experience in a customer facing administration
Desirable: previous experience in general insurance
