My client is currently one of the biggest residential construction companies in the country, turning over in excess of £600 million and opting to build quality over quantity.
Key Duties;
Manage the end to end weekly payroll process and be confident and competent to cover for monthly payroll as and when required.
Provide general HR admin support to recruitment and across the HR function.
Manage the quarterly line manager and mentor reporting cycle for our Management Trainees.
Proactively monitor the return of staff appraisals for year end and then support the transition to our new online process.
As a Super User of our HR system iTRent, produce accurate and timely people management information – for example input to Board Reports and KPIs.
Maintain the HR suite of policies and ensure they are up to date and fully compliant with Employment Law.
Maintain and update Job Descriptions on the intranet.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CIPD Level 3 Qualified. High attention to detail. Be able to hit the ground running. Strong team work ethic. As the role will have access to highly confidential personal information, they must be discreet and remain confidential and impartial at all times. A keen interest in staying up to date with relevant employment law. Advanced excel skills and comfortable manipulating spreadsheets and data. Previous use of HR systems. an advantage, in particular iTrent.
