Job Description

A company that has been established for 26 years and is a market leader in the manufacturing and supplying of business gifts is looking for an Accountant to join its team in London. Established 26 years ago, the company has built a very strong reputation and now has an international supplier and customer base. You will be working in a fast-paced, lively environment, working closely with the Managing Director.


As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Working in a multi-customer and supplier environment
• Managing all financial aspects of the business including salaries, VAT, bank, import duties etc.
• Cash flow forecasts.
• Management accounts.
• Commissions for salespeople.
• Solving supplier issues and queries.
• Performing cash reconciliations.
• Full preparation of accounts.

The successful Accountant will have the following skills and experiences:
 

• Previous experience gained from a similar accountancy, bookkeeper, finance role.
• Be part or fully AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
• Have strong knowledge of Excel.
• Previous experience with Xero would be beneficial but not essential.
• Be up to date with current financial regulations.

In return, as the Accountant, you will receive a salary of £45,000+ per annum.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Previous experience gained from a similar accountancy, bookkeeper, finance role. • Be part or fully AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified. • Have strong knowledge of Excel. • Previous experience with Xero would be beneficial but not essential.
