The ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in pursuing a legal career or working within a legal environment. The working hours of the role will be Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.15pm.
The role will entail:
Opening and closing files;
Providing quotes;
Attending to incoming and outgoing post;
Updating database with relevant file information;
Photocopying, printing and scanning
Obtaining searches and replies to property questionnaires;
Using Case Management System, Land Registry Portal, SDLT, Outlook, Excel etc;
Liaising with clients, estate agents and solicitors;
Obtaining title deeds, Land Registry title and plans;
Registration of title and dispatch of deeds to lender and client;
Printing and collating documents
Preparing Contract documentation;
Assist with preparation of Completion Statements and assist with completing transactions;
Tea/Coffee making when required;
To ensure the office is kept tidy;
To cover reception, post and bank duties as and when required.
