Syndicate Accountant required by prominent Lloyd's Insurance business

This is a hands-on role within a highly regarded external reporting team, covering internal and external regulatory reporting requirements.

You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the underlying financial accounting data for the Syndicate and for preparing information as required for various parties, including Lloyd's financial reporting and assisting with corporate reporting.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

*Preparation of syndicate quarterly and annual returns (QMA, QMB, TPD, ASR etc)

*Prepare syndicate business plan

*Monthly GAAP information

*Review of syndicate expenses and production of relevant analysis

*Annual tax returns to Lloyd's

*Review of syndicate VAT return

The successful candidate must have current/recent exposure to Lloyd's syndicate returns and possess an excellent understanding of the insurance industry
