Job Description

The role for the Customer Service Advisor will involve;

  • Responsibility for all jobs raised within the contracts and monitor all jobs for KPI management checks, ensuring that all jobs are attended to within time.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and reports are prepared and available for invoicing in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing jobs received during the working day and allocating accordingly to Engineers.
  • Entering information of appointments made for the engineer’s attendance and response in order to maximise attendance within response time, whilst minimising standby and travelling time.
  • Checking over engineers’ paperwork and PDAs to ensure written details match those reported, ensuring the engineer’s documentation is correct and accurate, scanning any reports to the job and updating client information if needed.
  • Recording details of conversations or other forms of communication regarding jobs to provide an audit trail of actions taken.
  • Raising and allocating specialist sub-contractors, giving response, completion and access details, and other relevant information, to ensure compliance with Client requirements.
  • Chasing sub-contractors for engineer reports within the expected time frames.
  • Providing administration support to Contract Managers, if and when required.
  • Using the database in order to raise jobs to be completed.
  • Compiling completed jobs and updating spreadsheets for financial evaluation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience of at least 1 year working in a call-centre environment. Experience working in a customer service environment. A confident telephone manner and be able to deal with high volumes of calls. Have a full UK driving license to be able to access the work address. Ability to plan and prioritise workload in order to meet targets and tight deadlines. Experience in working in a time sensitive environment. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as well as strong computer literacy.
