Job Description

This is an exciting chance to demonstrate your strong customer service skills, as well as your drive, determination and customer focus. Previous experience having worked in a Call Centre and working in a customer service environment is essential.

Our client is looking for a highly organised, confident and polite individual who can manage their own time to ensure targets are met and demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail. You must have a confident telephone manner and be able to cope with a high volume of calls. Due to the location of our clients offices, having a full UK driving licence/car would be advantageous. You will be working Monday to Friday. Hours are on a rota basis and will either be 8am - 4:30pm, 9am - 5:30pm or 9:30am - 6pm. 21 days holiday increasing by 1 day every 2 years' service, up to a maximum of 25 days, plus statutory days.

As the Customer Service Advisor, you will act as the initial contact, accepting orders for works, controlling the daily work of a team of engineers over a specified geographic area, and ensuring customer requirements are met. Main responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Be responsible for all jobs raised within the contracts, and monitor all jobs for KPI management checks.
Enter into the "Contract Diary" relevant information of appointments made for engineer attendance/response.
Check engineer's paperwork/PDAs to ensure written details match those reported and to ensure that the engineer's documentation is correct.
Record details of conversations or other forms of communication regarding jobs to provide an audit trail of actions taken.
Where necessary, raise and allocate specialist sub-contractors, giving response, completion and access details.
As and when required, compile contract data and associated client correspondence reports.
To provide administration support to electrical contracts managers as and when requested.
