Qualified Accountant £50K - Central London
Major International Trading Group based in Victoria require a Qualified Financial Accountant.The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a minimum of eight years accounting experience and be familiar with reporting in an international accounting environment.

Responsibilites:

Maintain and report balance sheet controls.
Account reconciliations are mainly prepared offshore and reviewed and summary reports prepared on shore.The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the reconciliations are prepared and reviewed to the monthly timetable. Some of the reconciliations are not up to date and in preparation for moving the reconciliation onto a new control system. The content and methodology for each reconciliation needs to be reviewed against the balance sheet reconciliation policy and any required actions implemented. The ideal candidate will prepare the summary of accounts prepared, which is the main management reporting of control account activity. Controls are reported manually and through a reporting program. Preparation of intercompany accounts within the Group.
Supervision of small accounting team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Working expertise in Financial Accounting and Controlling modules.Previous experience for reporting balance sheet controls in a large company.Enthusiasm for systems, and ability to pick understanding of new systems quickly.
Qualified Accountant.
