Looking for a candidate who has worked in Practice and has experience of all area’s of accounting ideally through ACCA, CIMA, AAT or ACA and is confident and competent in looking after their own client base and providing professional advice and have kept up to date with current legislation through CPD courses.  The Partner is looking to grow his business and is looking for someone who is excited by this opportunity.

Living locally to Stevenage, candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience of working as an Accountant in an Accountancy Practice with a good understanding of Digita Practice Software or another practice software system along with experience of Quickbooks, Xero and Sage Line 50.

You knowledge and experience MUST include:-

• Finalising accounts
• Preparation of corporation tax returns and self assessment
• Experience of preparing Management accounts for clients
• Working with clients on an on-going basis with cash flow forecasts and projections.
• Advising on Tax matters
• MTD
• Liaising with the HMRC.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You must have strong communication skills, with the ability to deal with clients confidently face to face and over the phone, have a good understanding of current regulations and be proactive in keeping up to date with changes in the law through CPD courses or webinars.
