Job Description

Our client, a global media company, is looking for a qualified accountant to assist with an ongoing integration project, for an initial 6-month period. The role will be sitting within the European controllership and will involve liaising with local EMEA finance teams. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with advanced MS Excel skills.

Description

• Prepare reconciliations of financial information to the general ledger for newly acquired entities.
• Work with the local EMEA Finance teams to investigate and resolve reconciliation differences.
• Liaise with local EMEA Finance team to ensure that project timelines are strictly adhered to.
• Prepare SAP testing files for UAT.
• Provide regular updates to project leads.
• Assist with legal entity mergers and disposals.
• Create process flow maps for current and future processes.
• Document statutory requirements.

Skills

• Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Advanced level of MS Excel.
• Previous project management experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• SAP knowledge is desirable.
