Job Description

Reporting Accountant - Insurance

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with insurance experience to join this growing London market underwriter. Due to promotion within the team they are looking for a qualified accountant with insurance or reinsurance experience. This broad role will include a range of reporting responsibilities including :

- Solvency II reporting including production of standard formula calculations
- Regulatory reporting to both UK and overseas regulators
- Investment reporting and accounting
- Statutory reporting
- Exposure to Lloyd's reporting
- Mentoring junior team members

They are keen to identify qualified (ACA, ACCA) accountants with an insurer or reinsurer background. They do not necessarily prior solvency II experience, but do require a good knowledge of reporting within an insurance business. Key for them is someone who is enthusiastic, keen to learn and someone who looking to work in varied and challenging role which can offer excellent opportunities for development.
