This role could be well suited to a qualified accountant whio has trained in an accountancy practice.
Main responsibilities will be:
Oversee the month end close process and ensure that the final numbers are accurate, timely and complete
Drive an ethos of 'right first time’
Day to day supervision of a small team
Ensure that other Group requirements are met including:
o Assist with any internal audits of entities
o Assist providing detail as required to external audit
o Completing month end and year end reporting
Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of:
o Statutory Accounts packs
o Quarterly tax reporting (GTC) and annual tax packs
Assist with the preparation of standard monthly reporting for Head Office
Ensuring that the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process is completed on time
Managing improvement projects as and when required
Assisting the Finance Manager with balance sheet forecasting and budgeting
Manager as necessary

Ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA), finalists may be considered Demonstrate strong accounting skills with a focus on balance sheet control Demonstrate attention to detail with an ability to see the bigger picture Demonstrate excellent process skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines Demonstrate the ability to oversee a small team Ideally large company process and accounting experience Excellent Microsoft Office skills
