Interim Legal Accountant


Your new company
The company is a specialist technology law firm. They are looking to find an interim accountant to join the finance team on a 9-month fixed term contract basis. They are looking for someone to come onboard whilst the current assistant financial controller sets up a new system. There will also be potential for this role to go permanent once the contract comes to an end.

Your new role
Provide support to all members of the finance team to fulfil their roles i.e. billers, cashier and credit controllers and ensure compliance with SRA Account rules.

• Firm/Department WIP report and Fee Earner Performance Analysis weekly

• Assist with the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts and all other related reports, prepayments, accruals etc
• Preparation of various month end or ad hoc client (internal and external) reports
• Budgets and targets to be maintained and reported on

What you'll need to succeed
It is required to be fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in the above tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience within the legal sector, however, experience from wider professional service sectors will suffice.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
