Job Description

This is an opportunity to start and build a career within business administration. You will be based in the Examinations, Registry & Reception departments of Blackburn College and will gain experience across a range of duties relating to the smooth running of examination, registry and reception activity. This will include student enrolment, registrations, assessments and examinations as well as assisting with general day to day operational issues. You will receive training in all areas of the job description, 20% of which will be “off the job” training. You will be required to successfully complete a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard within the duration of the contract.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You must have a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths and you will be required to complete a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard within the duration of the contract. Ability to work to deadlines and maintain a high degree of accuracy and work as part of a team is essential. As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
