Job Description

Due to an unexpected departure, we are looking to appoint a new Company Accountant.  This role involves being solely responsible, working “hands on” within all financial aspects of the business.  On an annual basis, the role would  involve taking the accounts to Trial Balance, in addition to liaising with external accountants.

Robust accounts are critical to the smooth running of the business. As such, there is also regular daily/weekly/monthly management reporting.  

The accounts role also has regular interaction and works closely with other departments within the business.

The successful candidate must have thorough everyday experience of both Sage and at least intermediate Excel including, pivot tables etc; must have excellent English; and have a good understand of budgeting and margins etc.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience from longer term positions in commercial SME’s is important, ideally within distribution/manufacturing.
