Job Description

Your responsibilities:

As a Logistics Administrator in one of our labs, you'll be supporting the weekly stock count schedule on warehouse stock management systems (such as Oracle ERP and SAGE200). You'll be involved in a data entry tasks requiring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy on delivery notes and invoices.

You'll also ensure all goods-in/goods-out documentation and POs are accurately completed and finalised within the right timeframes with all archive records filed. If any issues with deliveries arise, you'll also be responsible for communicating this with suppliers to investigate further or submit claims.

Part of being a Logistics Administrator is to maintain effective customer relations and basic negotiating skills with other business areas to support the continuous improvement aims of the Warehouse & Procurement teams.

Providing administrative support to the training of new staff members is also part of the role, ensuring individual training records are produced at the induction stage and periodically reviewed.

As well as a competitive rate of pay (with a 10% uplift applied for night working and end of contract bonus), you'll receive comprehensive training on relevant lab procedures and equipment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience: Experience of data processing and inputting Control of Documentation and training records Skills: Working knowledge of Excel & other IT systems Ability to plan and prioritise work In addition, the following experience are also desirable but not mandatory: Experience: Experience in a logistics environment SAGE and Oracle system experience desirable Designing and maintaining spreadsheets Low-level negotiation and stakeholder management Full, valid UK Driving License
