Job Description

The Role

  • Support the Covid lab teams with administration duties
  • Receipting submissions through laboratory information management system (LIMS)
  • Adhere to SOP’s, work instructions and Quality Management system (QMS) at all times ensuring good laboratory practice (GLP) is followed
  • Report any non-conformances using local and company quality systems
  • Take a proactive approach to Continuous Improvement within all aspects of the day to day role
  • Take a proactive responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues
  • Communicate effectively to team members to ensure a smooth flow of work through the laboratory process.
  • Work in accordance with values of customer focus, competence and team spirit, quality and integrity
  • Ability to build relationships quickly
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a Can-do attitude with flexible approach to adapt to the department's needs
  • Excellent level of English (verbal and written)
  • Strong MS Office (particularly, Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Experience in a hospital, clinical or scientific environment, use of LIMS would be an advantage
  • Excellent Administrative skills
  • Must have own transport and can drive

This role is working on a shift pattern, earlies and lates, on a full-time contract basis for a fixed period of 6 months, with the possibility of further extensions.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a brand-new Team working on an exciting and new project.
