The Role
- Support the Covid lab teams with administration duties
- Receipting submissions through laboratory information management system (LIMS)
- Adhere to SOP’s, work instructions and Quality Management system (QMS) at all times ensuring good laboratory practice (GLP) is followed
- Report any non-conformances using local and company quality systems
- Take a proactive approach to Continuous Improvement within all aspects of the day to day role
- Take a proactive responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues
- Communicate effectively to team members to ensure a smooth flow of work through the laboratory process.
- Work in accordance with values of customer focus, competence and team spirit, quality and integrity
- Ability to build relationships quickly
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Have a Can-do attitude with flexible approach to adapt to the department's needs
- Excellent level of English (verbal and written)
- Strong MS Office (particularly, Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Experience in a hospital, clinical or scientific environment, use of LIMS would be an advantage
- Excellent Administrative skills
- Must have own transport and can drive
This role is working on a shift pattern, earlies and lates, on a full-time contract basis for a fixed period of 6 months, with the possibility of further extensions.
