Job Description
We are looking for a CIMA Qualified Finance Professional, who has relevant sector experience for example from Social Housing, Facilities Management or Construction industries. Experience in using COINS is desirable.
This is a technical role for which you will support a business unit in the management and analysis of their: monthly/quarterly reporting, strategy and day to day commercial activities. The successful candidate will ensure effective controls, processes, information systems and results are practiced, achieved and recorded to support and shape the direction of this key business area.
Aid and provide insightful decision-making analytics
Review & manage all reports produced by the team
Identification and creation of business reports to challenge assumptions and provide support to management decisions
Ad-hoc business performance reporting
Handling month-end, ensuring deadlines are met
Managing key stakeholder expectations
Leading a finance team of four and liaising with AP/AR/Payroll where necessary
Task delegation and setting internal deadlines
Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
Build good working relationships with key stakeholders within the business to understand requirements & existing processes, and find ways to develop & improve
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with a solid track record of analysing numbers and trends within a low value high volume business. You will have the ability to communicate with, and make an impact on, all level employees from junior to executive by explaining financial concepts clearly and effectively.
