Job Description

You will play a key role within the CGA Relations team which will see you assisting the delivery of a variety of projects and tasks including:

  • The organisation of the Chefs de Mission seminar
  • CGA Relations integration with all the Games Villages, planning and implementing the CGA Services Centre e.g. furniture, fixtures and equipment and FA integration
  • Ensuring readiness of meeting rooms and DRM rooms in the CGA Services Centre
  • Planning the operation and carry out requirements of daily Chefs de Mission meetings during Games Time e.g. preparing agenda and minutes of the meeting

This role will champion the needs and expectations of CGAs within the Organising Committee and liaise with OC Functional Areas to ensure the required services are delivered to athletes, team officials and VIPs.

As the role will grow over the lifespan of the games it will develop cooperative and positive relationships with a wide range of internal Organising Committee Functional Areas to ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered to the CGAs at Games time.

Responsibilities of the role will evolve during the lifespan of the Organising Committee and it is likely that the role profile will evolve with the changing needs of the Organising Committee.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A ‘C’ Grade in GCSE English Language (5 in New Grade structure) A ‘D’ Grade in GCSE Maths (4 in New Grade structure) Able to work with people at all levels and to provide excellent customer service Ability to use initiative to resolve matters within their control, only escalating relevant issues Sound judgement and ability to make evidence-based recommendations Ability to adopt a flexible approach, taking on different tasks and adapting to the rapidly changing workload of the Organising Committee Proficient in Microsoft application
