Job Description

Our clients are recruiting an immediate Interim Project Financial Accountant for a leading transportation and infrastructure business based in London for 12 months. To be considered for this role, experience in both SAP and data migration experience is essential.

Role

As the Interim Project Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Setup new SAP Leasing Tool Environment, disposing of 340 contracts on current system and setting up 340 contract on new system
• Provide DB SAP Leasing Tool Services to NTL for a period of 3 months
• Support Financial Controller to migrate NTL hosted SAP system to AUKT hosted environment
• Support in establishing project governance, reporting, scope definition, solution design, procurement of partner, creation of detailed project plan and task listing, identification and ongoing monitoring of risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, creation of testing scripts, responsibility for testing
• Assist in month end process for UK Trains subsidiaries including management reporting via HFM and tax computations for these entities.
• Assist the Financial Controller to support and drive process improvement initiatives. This includes participation in divisional or group projects where relevant to adopt and introduce new ways of working and business partnering for UK Trains Ltd
• Process monthly accounting entries for all relevant costs centres
• Support in adhoc business case preparation, review and act as Finance Lead on projects as required

Profile

The ideal candidate will be an immediate, qualified accountant and have prior experience being involved in data migration and implementation projects.

To be considered for this role, experience in both SAP and data migration experience is essential.

Salary & Benefits

This 12 month Fixed Term Contract will be paying circa £55k dependant on experience.
