Job Description

A London city based Lloyd's insurance Broker is currently recruiting for an IBA Management Accountant to help support the Financial Controller.

As the IBA Management Accountant you will provide the core financial information required by the company to build up its financial statements, as well as information that will inform Management of areas of concern in financial matters such as an issue with a particular client regarding credit control etc.

More specifically this will include the daily update of all cash books for both the IBA and Office accounts, monthly cash book reconciliations for all bank accounts along with Client Money Calculations for the IBA accounts, assisting the IBA Accountant and Office Manager with cash allocation queries, funding issues and outstanding premium, processing company expenses on the accounting systems, assisting the FC with month end processes and reports and assisting with the annual audit.

Applicants must have relevant experience gained working for a Lloyd's broker, be proficient in insurance broker accounting (IBA) and ideally have some client money calculation knowledge, possess strong excel skills and enjoy working in a small team.
