A newly created role to join a leading manufacturing business.

The business have ambitious growth plans and are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the finance function.

This is a varied role and will offer an exceptional opportunity for a candidate who is at the start of their professional qualifications to develop their career alongside their studies.

Duties will include: * Bank reconciliations * Accruals & Prepayments * Fixed Assets & Depreciation * Purchase Payments & Scheduling * Invoice Finance * Accounting for stock * Inter-company transfers

Job Offer

Salary on offer £23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience, ACCA/CIMA study support, on site car parking and benefits.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The role will suit an ambitious candidate with excellent attention to detail. The ability to work on your own initiative is something that or client is particularly keen for the successful candidate to demonstrate. Our client are looking for someone who wants to take on extra responsibility and who is ambitious and seeks out challenge. Due to the nature of the role there is no flexibility on home working at this stage although extensive measures have been taken to ensure that the offices are Covid Secure.
