As the Assistant Accountant, there are a number of responsibilities that will fall under your remit, including but not limited to:
- Full coverage of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns and EC sales reports
- Administering payroll
- Financial reporting
- Additional ad hoc duties
In order to be successful in this position, you will ideally:
- Have experience working in a similar level finance position previously
- Be comfortable working autonomously
- Be proficient in the use of excel and finance systems such as Sage
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be organised and proactive in your approach to work
