Duties & Responsibilities of Assistant Accountant include:
*Fixed asset accounting for the business
*Assisting with month end preparation
*Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of fixed assets
*Maintaining the fixed asset register
*Liaising with wider business to understand investment and disposal activities
*Assisting with ad-hoc projects as required
*Full responsibility for the Purchase Ledger function
*Supporting the wider finance team
The ideal candidate will have the following:
*At least 2 years' experience in an accounting environment
*Studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to work confidently towards deadlines
*Strong educational background
