Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of bookkeepers and management accountants
• Manage a portfolio of clients while being supported by the Partners
• Overseeing the processing of Client’s paperwork, including GL postings and all their bookkeeping
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing month end journals and subsequently monthly management accounts and also review accounts production by your team
• Assisting with clients’ Financial Forecasting
• Preparing relevant calculations and VAT returns
• Some personal and corporation tax compliance work where required, albeit the dedicated tax team will look after most of this

Team management

• Reviewing work done by junior members of the team, including technical accounting questions, management accounts
• Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT returns using Xero
• Discussing broader client business issues and how to manage them
• Have an overall responsibility for the management of WIP on your client portfolio
