Job Description

Our client, a global risk consultancy business are seeking a Finance Systems Accountant to lead the continuous improvement and management of the European Finance System landscape.

This newly created role will be pivotal in the delivery of accurate financial data and reports. Initially, the ideal candidate will need to take ownership of the long term system strategy by identifying a number of key improvements and gain "quick wins" within the business.

The business has already identified some focus areas which include;

- Engage stakeholders at all levels - creating materials and training documents
- Documentation of "follow guides"
- Review current controls process and create a new framework
- Partner IT to understand current business systems knowledge

Skills/ Experience required

- Advanced systems knowledge (ideally Workday Financials))
- Strong Financial understanding
- Process automation experience
