Apprenticeship
An Accounts Lead is an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within a business.
The accounts assistant as the name suggests is predominantly responsible for assisting the CEO of the business with junior accounting duties and task.
Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing client proposals, reports and financial data
- Client on boarding – contract, KYC for money laundering, set payment structure, liaising with client to ensure payments are made
- Basic bookkeeping activities, reconciling finance accounts, credit control, issue invoices, working with sales and purchase ledgers and running calculations to ensure that records and payments are correct on Xero - our internal accounting software

Excellent knowledge of MS Office:
- Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload

- Able to effectively organise and prioritise own workload
- Able to quickly pick up new systems
- Desired qualifications
- 5 x A*-B (9-6) GCSE’s or equivalent
- 3 x (A*-B) A-levels or equivalent
