Job Description
Our client based in Rugeley, Staffordshire is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the existing team.
Duties:
Entering; purchase orders, purchase invoices and sales invoices
Performing credit control
Running payroll for CIS and PAYE
Bank reconciliations
Preparation of monthly accounts and journals
Prepayments and Accruals
CIS and Returns
Producing project Management and Cost projections
General administrative duties – Filing, posting, scanning, logging etc
Hours: Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You should be a team player and be able to assist the team with a variety of tasks. Ideally worked in a fast paced environment previously. You will ideally be part AAT qualified but should have experience in a similar role. Naturally, you will offer attention to detail, be able to work on your own initiatives and show an element of drive and ambition. You should have some experience of Sage Line 50.
