Job Description

Responsibilities

As this is an apprenticeship the below responsibilities and accountabilities reflect the role after the completion of an end-point assessment. As the apprenticeship progresses the percentage of these responsibilities and accountabilities you will take up will increase relative to knowledge and skills.

  • Provide general administrative and organisational support to the Security team including setting up team meetings, template creation and the assisting with low level programme management
  • Support the administration of the procurement processes for the FA
  • Maintain a record of incoming documentation from external organisations
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of on-boarding support for future SEC team members
  • Assist the SEC Managers with the operating plans including arranging site visits and updating documentation
  • Support desktop and simulation readiness exercises
  • Assist in the preparation of Games time documentation for SEC including Daily Run Sheets, Radio Fleet-maps and Pre-event Checklists.
  • Assist with reporting and tracking of SEC activities across all venues during the games
  • Represent the Organising Committee’s interest in selected external stakeholder and project team meetings
  • Carry out any other duties as requested from time to time.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
GCSE Maths Grade D or 3 GCSE English Grade C or 4 Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build excellent internal and external relationships and work effectively with individuals at all levels Flexible, resilient and positive through organisational growth and other challenges Ability to successfully manage the demands of a constantly changing operational environment Supportive, collaborative and reliable team player Positive outlook and approach Self-motivated Strong organisational skills High level of attention to detail Good time management and goal orientation skills Experience of managing multiple different tasks in effective and efficient manner, meeting deadlines and objectives Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated knowledge and experience of using MS Office Suite of products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate or above level Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to small audiences Experience of working or volunteering in a team environment Experience of working or volunteering in a customer service role
