My client, a property company based in Stratford with a reputation in the creative industries are opening new venues across Central London and seeing unprecedented growth in 2020. The Finance Manager who leads a team of 5 is looking for an additional Accounts Assistant to join their modern and vibrant team at short notice offering full study support and opportunities for trips to exclusive launch parties. What you will be doing
Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be working on:
Preparing high value multi-currency payments and invoices
Allocating monies received (BACS/Cheques/Cash)
Resolving all queries from suppliers/clients
Supporting the Finance Manager with commentary on month end reports
Assisting with VAT Returns, Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements
Essential skills/experience
Experience using Sage 50 or 200
1+ years’ Accounts Assistant experience
Experience across sales and/or purchase ledger
Managing multiple supplier/client accounts
Preparing weekly payment runs
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and v-lookups)
Desirable skills/experience
Property or creative industries experience
Currently studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA
