Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our friendly, professional and extremely busy service.

You will help to provide a comprehensive, high quality, efficient telephone and administrative service for the combined Single Point of Access and Switchboard team. Working as part of the team, you will be responsible for dealing with high volumes of incoming calls and processing high volumes of referrals for mental health services.

Your role will entail liaising with members of the public, service users, GP’s and other health care professionals via the telephone, ensuring that an efficient service is being provided to all users.

You will be part of a team working 11 hour shift patterns for both days and nights, over 7 days (including weekends and bank holidays) to help cover the 24 hour services.

This is a busy and time-critical environment and we need someone who can work on their own initiative, consistently producing high quality accurate work and offering flexibility to cross cover and support colleagues as required. Roles can change on a daily basis within the scope of the job description.

You will be responsible for collating information required for clinical referrals and have accurate data quality recording skills.
