The Legal Administrator will provide administrative and paralegal support to the solicitors within the Legal Service, including a lead role in the maintenance of the legal case management system, manage a supervised caseload of routine legal casework.
In addition to this the Legal Administrator will, under appropriate supervision, develop commensurate knowledge and awareness of the law, provide basic caseload and legal signposting guidance to the organisation, handle a case load of routine low risk cases including advocacy as appropriate.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have experience of providing business and/or administration support services to professional staff, a basic knowledge of the role, relationship and responsibilities of a social landlord to its tenants, administrative and customer service skills. In addition to this it is essential for the successful candidate to have 4 GCSE’s including English and Maths grade C or above or equivalent and NVQ Business Admin Level 3 (Or equivalent qualifications for CILEX enrolment criteria).
