Job Description

The role is to provide assistance to the reservations team. This is an opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills, great communication and a can-do attitude. It offers a gradual training programme which if successful will give you the opportunity to move up to the position of Reservations Agent within a period of 6 months.

This is a work from home position. Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have a suitable environment for working from home without interruption and have a good broadband internet connection. The role is full time working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. The hours for a Reservations Agent include evenings and weekends.

Key elements of the role include the following:

  • Assist the reservations team with customer enquiries
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emails
  • Chase outstanding bookings and payments
  • Build strong relationships with hotels to ensure a smooth booking process
  • Gain a good knowledge and understanding of our hotels and the key selling points of our services

In addition to the above, we are looking for candidates who understand that we are a small team and a rapidly changing company who want to provide a great service to customers and hotels. You therefore need to be flexible enough to "muck in" with whatever tasks are important on any given day.

Candidate requirements

The people we are looking for will most probably have experience of working in hotel reservations or front of house, but applications are welcome from any candidate who can demonstrate a very strong track record in customer service and office administration.
