Job Description

Our client based in West Leeds are one of the market leaders within the test equipment industry focusing on sales, calibration, repair, hire and training. Founded in 2005 the company continues to grow due to an ever expanding portfolio of innovative and high quality test & measurement instruments with associated services. The company works in close partnership with established manufacturers and suppliers and are well known and respected within the market.

Due to growth within their Calibration/Repair/Service department they are now looking to expand the team with an Administration Technician. If you are a self-motivated and hardworking person with a positive attitude that enjoys working within a busy team then our client would like to meet you.

Primary Duties of the Technical Sales Administrator:

  • Booking in, booking out and raising invoices for test and measurement instruments
  • Liaising with customers over the telephone, by e-mail and face to face
  • Raising purchase orders for Sub contracted products and spare parts
  • Creating & monitoring monthly calibration recall emails
  • Arranging shipment and collections for customers equipment using our couriers
  • Acting as point of contact for designated larger customers and managing those accounts
  • Working within a busy team, reporting to the Calibration Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A good team player with the ability to work under pressure and prioritizing workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Customer Services or Key Account Management is advantageous. Good numerical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy. A solid level of computer and software literacy is essential. Experience with Sage 50 and/or Microsoft Excel is advantageous. Full training on our laboratory management software will be provided. A thorough individual who is efficient and takes pride in their work. Holds a full driving license.
