Job Description

An exciting opportunity has opened within a family business supplying joinery product to a wide spectrum of businesses nationwide. As a market-leading importer and distributor in our field we are looking to recruit an experienced individual to assist within our busy Warehouse Office.
You will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for the admin element of the Warehouse & Logistics teams primarily through the use of Bistrack & in-house Sims IT systems.
Your main duties will be:

  • Looking into terminal & gun issues
  • Processing of orders & pick completion
  • Discrepancy claim processing and progression
  • Month-end & stock valuation/investigate missing stock requirements
  • Liaise closely with other internal departments such as sales & transport within a KPI
  • Assisting with ensuring supplier accounts are up to date and ready for payment
  • Day to day management filing/goods received documentation/pick notes etc.
  • Data input
  • Customer service and admin queries

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm plus 1 in every 4 Saturday rota.
The Apprenticeship will last 15 months. After 12 Months, learners will be entered into their End Point Assessment. At this stage you will submit your portfolio, complete a multiple-choice online exam, participate in a portfolio-based interview and deliver a project presentation.
