Our clients are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join a transport company based in Central London.

This role will be for one month on a temporary basis, then will convert onto a five month fixed term contract, paying up to £45,000. On an hourly rate this role will be paying up to £22.50 per hour PAYE + Holiday pay. ( this will be dependant on experience).

The successful candidate must have system migration and SAP experience- this is essential.

Duties include:

• Setup new SAP Leasing Tool Environment
• Provide DB SAP Leasing Tool Services for a period of 3 months
• Support Financial Controller to migrate hosted SAP system to AUKT hosted environment
• Support in establishing project governance, reporting, scope definition, solution design, procurement of partner, creation of detailed project plan and task listing, identification and ongoing monitoring of risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, creation of testing scripts, responsibility for testing.
• Assist in month end process for UK Trains subsidiaries including management reporting and tax computations for these entities.
• Assist the Financial Controller to support and drive process improvement initiatives. This includes participation in divisional or group projects where relevant to adopt and introduce new ways of working and business partnering for UK Trains Ltd
• Process monthly accounting entries for all relevant costs centres
• Support in adhoc business case preparation, review and act as Finance Lead on projects as required
