Job Description

My client is a high end Casino, Restaurant and Bar based in the Kensington area who are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the following:

*Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts

*Accounting for casino revenue, player funds movement and bonuses

*Accruals and prepayments

*Balance sheet reconciliations including control accounts, bank and payment providers

*KPI reporting

*Budgeting

*Accruals and prepayments

*Management of the fixed assets register

*Posting invoices, supplier payments and reconciliations

*Key involvement in annual audit and preparation

There are plans to implement new software to automate the posting of invoices and you will take the lead in that implementation. This role will offer exposure to all aspects of the business and will offer the right candidate the opportunity to grow into the role and to work autonomously. There will also be opportunity to get more involved in the Commercial side of the business.

The Finance Director is looking to take a step back slightly from the business in the coming months so they are looking for someone part-qualified ACCA/CIMA who is looking to qualify within the next couple of years as a maximum. You will also need to have experience within a similar role within commerce and industry.
