Job Description
Our client is an international freight organisation and provider of UK Storage & Distribution services
As part of their continued growth they now need an experienced Accounts Clerk/Assistant to join their existing accounts team
Duties:
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
Create and update expense reports
Prepare bank deposits
Enter financial transactions into internal databases
Check spreadsheets for accuracy
Maintain digital and physical financial records
Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
Purchase/sales ledger
Credit control
Benefits:
Salary between £20,000 - £25,000 per annum DOE
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures Familiarity with finance regulations Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage) Strong organisation skills Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
