Our client, a dynamic and growing company based in York, operating within the cosmetics industry, is looking to recruit a Technical & Quality Administrator who will be focusing on quality compliance, legislation, testing, and licensor and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Co-ordination of testing samples and submission to external testing companies. Keeping the team updated on progress and highlighting any potential issues.
Request samples of products, to match client specification requirements.
Liaise with marketing and manage pre-production and production samples during the development process to ensure all records are retained for approval prior to release of products.
Liaise with marketing, providing technical and quality support, to ensure regulatory and quality compliance for all products.
Manage Licensor approval systems to ensure they are accurately maintained with all technical requirements, to gain product approval.
Manage third party product inspections with auditing companies in the Far East, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner, to achieve on time customer deliveries.
Compile and maintain PIF files for cosmetic and toiletry products. Work with suppliers to ensure all requirements are met, ensuring legislative, customer and licensor compliance.
Maintain and respond to consumer complaints, in line with agreed service levels.
Manage and support continuous improvements activities as well as ensuring the department stays within budget.
Provide administrative support to other areas of the business as and when required.
