Job Description

My client is a law firm based in the Leeds LS28 area who are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary who will provide excellent support to their department.

Responsibilities

  • Providing Secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the department.
  • Preparing and filing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Managing diaries, ensuring they are up to date.
  • Provide support to other Partners and Fee Earners within the team.
  • Typing of urgent correspondence.
  • Drafting general and basic correspondence as required.
  • Opening and closing of general files, general filing, record keeping and archiving of files.
  • Photocopying, printing, organizing couriers, sending out of letters, faxes as required.
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with general enquiries.
  • Adhere to all company and regulatory policy
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security across the firm

Hours are Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00

Minimum 3 months


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience in a hands-on Secretarial role within Conveyancing. Ability to effectively use a variety of systems vital within a Secretarial role, including Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook. Excellent use of English grammar and spelling. Hold outstanding time-management and organization skills and an ability to priorities workload. Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and be happy to provide continuous support to the team.
