My client is a law firm based in the Leeds LS28 area who are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary who will provide excellent support to their department.
Responsibilities
Providing Secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the department.
Preparing and filing legal documents and correspondence.
Managing diaries, ensuring they are up to date.
Provide support to other Partners and Fee Earners within the team.
Typing of urgent correspondence.
Drafting general and basic correspondence as required.
Opening and closing of general files, general filing, record keeping and archiving of files.
Photocopying, printing, organizing couriers, sending out of letters, faxes as required.
Answering the telephone and dealing with general enquiries.
Adhere to all company and regulatory policy
Ensuring confidentiality and security across the firm
Hours are Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience in a hands-on Secretarial role within Conveyancing. Ability to effectively use a variety of systems vital within a Secretarial role, including Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook. Excellent use of English grammar and spelling. Hold outstanding time-management and organization skills and an ability to priorities workload. Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and be happy to provide continuous support to the team.
