Job Description

Based at our modern Head Office in Huddersfield, this a new and fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employers Agent/Contract Administrator to join our Contract Administration Team made up of Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers of varying experience from university graduates to more senior qualified professionals. You will need to be both a team player with determination to drive projects forwards whilst also having the ability to work independently with well-developed leadership skills to support and assist more junior members of the team.

You will enjoy a varied client facing workload including preparation of specifications and schedules of work, tender documents, managing procurement processes, site inspections, quality management, chairing meetings, contract administration, cost control, design co-ordination, CDM Consultant/Principal Designer duties, Party Wall Act surveys and property (measured and attribute / condition) surveys.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
RICS or CIOB accredited construction degree. MRICS/MCIOB qualified or commitment to working towards membership. 10 years post qualification experience. Relevant experience of providing similar services in your current role. Experience of working with traditional and Design & Build contracts. A qualification and/or knowledge of Principal Designer (CDM2015) duties. Confident communicator & experienced in client facing roles. A ‘self-starter’ able to be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy & self-motivation. Full UK driving license.
