Assistant Accountant
Full-time, Temporary
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of month end accounts for the company, and liaison with external auditors.
- Looking after budgets and year end accounts in liaison with company
- Balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayment and weekly cashflow
- Management reports, transactions and weekly/monthly payments
- Contribution to credit control, accounts payable and expenses
- P&Ls, VAT Returns and some payroll knowledge
- Other ad hoc office duties as and when required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Actively studying either ACA/ACCA/CIMA - AAT Qualified is desirable - Strong personality, thriving in a lively and vibrant office - Good sense of humour - Build strong working relationships and excellent communication - A varied and hands-on mindset, happy to be involved with other areas of business as and when required. - Strong technical skills, Xero knowledge would be desirable - Can cope with a demanding workload.
