Your new role
In this Rochdale Assistant Accountant job you will be responsible for the preparation of year-end financial statements and the corporation tax computations for a range of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies alongside some ad hoc VAT & bookkeeping work. You will also take responsibility for liaising with clients via phone and email.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The firm are looking to appoint an individual who has prior experience of working within a general practice who is competent in preparing accounts up to partner review, has knowledge of tax and who ideally has had experience using Sage. Ideally the perfect candidate would be qualified by experience but the firm are happy to see applications of candidates who are training. You must be able to demonstrate a passion for developing your career within practice and good communication skills as you will be liaising with clients on a regular basis.
